What is the facility of Direct Credits to Non ICICI Bank Accounts?


ICICI Bank Sri Lanka now offers you an option to directly credit the Account of your beneficiary in over 90+ key banks. This is through a service offered to banks by the Reserve Bank of India. It is also referred to as Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) It covers the networked branches of all banks in India. If your beneficiary has an account with any of the bank branches under this service they can avail of this facility. How much time will it take for the funds to be credited to my beneficiary's a/c?


It would take between 2-4 working days from the date of receipt of funds at ICICI Bank Sri Lanka.

What details of the beneficiary are required to avail of this facility?


It is very important that you give us the correct beneficiary details to process direct credits into their account. The beneficiary details that are very important to process the transaction are
 

Bank Name

The bank where your beneficiary holds an account

Beneficiary Name

As appearing in their bank's records

Bank Branch

The exact branch where the account is held

Account Number

The exact account number, which should necessarily be held with the branch chosen

Account Type

Nature of account type - Saving Account, NRE Account etc
